What is Online Mediation?

Online mediation is a voluntary dispute resolution process where a neutral mediator facilitates communication between disputing parties through a secure digital platform, helping them reach a mutually acceptable settlement.

Unlike arbitration, the mediator does not impose a decision. Parties retain full control over the outcome. Mediation is recognized under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (Part III) and the Mediation Act, 2023.
